Dolphin AI by Eloelo Group markets a production workspace for ads and social video: describe a video, organize its shots, and bring pictures and sound together in one workspace, with models such as Veo, Seedance and Kling under one subscription.
The buying decision is less tidy. Each paid plan says commercial use is allowed. The Terms say the service and its outputs cannot be used commercially except as authorized for organization accounts, and they do not spell out what that authorization covers or which plans carry it. For paid work, settle that in writing before buying credits or promising a client a delivery date.
We checked Dolphin's public product, pricing and policy pages on October 21, 2026. We did not open an account, complete checkout or generate a video, so output quality and the cost of a finished project remain untested. This guide assesses the published offer.
Can you use Dolphin AI for commercial work?
Each paid tier on the pricing page lists "Commercial Use allowed." The Terms of Use, last updated August 10, read more narrowly:
| Clause | What it says in practical terms |
|---|---|
| Section 6 | The service license covers personal use or internal business purposes, as the Terms specifically permit. |
| Section 10.2.2 | Commercial use of the service or its outputs is prohibited except as authorized for organization accounts under the Terms. |
| Section 9.1 | You own your outputs, subject to the Terms, but grant the company an irrevocable, sublicensable license to use them, including to improve the platform. |
The Terms define organization accounts and their roles, but we found no clause stating what commercial use those accounts are authorized for, and no plan-specific amendment. Dolphin's refund policy also describes Starter and Pro as individual subscription plans and lists team plans as a separate category. Owning an output does not settle which uses are permitted.
Ask Dolphin to confirm in writing whether your plan and account cover monetized posts, client delivery and paid advertising, and, if organization authorization is required, how it is granted. Nothing we found establishes a blanket ban; the published documents leave that connection unclear.
Advertising needs particular care. Dolphin markets product-ad templates, yet Section 10.3.2 bars using outputs for claims presented as factual about real products, and Section 10.3.6 bars using them to imply endorsement of any product or to promote alcohol, tobacco, gambling, firearms or escort services. Ask how those clauses apply to an ordinary product ad. Sections 10.1.1 and 10.3.5 require written consent from identifiable people and from anyone whose face or voice you upload, which matters for the character-swap features Dolphin advertises. A commercial-use label resolves none of this.
What do Dolphin AI's plans cost?
The pricing page showed these monthly offers when we checked:
| Plan | Displayed monthly price | Included credits | Dolphin's own examples |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $7 | 105 | 6+ Seedance 2.0 or 9+ Veo 3.1 Fast videos |
| Pro | $28 (shown down from $39) | 590 | 30+ Seedance 2.0 or 22+ Veo 3.1 videos |
| Max | $68 (shown down from $100) | 1,500 | 75+ Seedance 2.0 or 54+ Veo 3.1 videos |
The page uses a dollar sign without a currency code and does not say how long the Pro and Max discounts last. We did not verify checkout currency, taxes or the renewal amount.
Subscriptions renew automatically, and unused monthly credits expire at the end of each cycle. Charges vary by model or template and duration, and Dolphin's MCP documentation adds resolution.
Those examples give a model-specific allowance, but their clip lengths and settings are unstated. They are not guarantees of finished, accepted projects. The MCP page says most video models produce clips of 4 to 10 seconds, which is a different measure from a multi-shot sequence. A client-ready sequence may need replacement shots, revised dialogue and another pass through the edit, and no monthly allowance tells you how many attempts your brief will take. The MCP documentation says a connected agent can quote a job's credit cost before running it, which helps budget each step but not the number of retakes.
Using credits ends the standard seven-day refund window
The refund policy, dated August 10, allows a refund request within seven days of your first subscription purchase only if no credits from it have been used, subject to applicable law and its listed exceptions. Dolphin may keep its processing fee. Top-ups are generally non-refundable under the published policy; legal rights and its stated exceptions still apply. Credits lost to a confirmed platform-side failure are restored; dissatisfaction with an output does not qualify.
The policy describes a rollover exception for mid-cycle upgrades, which also move your billing date. Treat the first paid generation as the purchase decision.
Can you get in, and is there a free plan?
The early-access page offers an invite-code entry and a waitlist. We did not verify approval times, country eligibility or payment acceptance.
The Terms say Dolphin currently offers a free account with limited functionality, without stating its allowance. YourStory's October 20 report on a founder session said Dolphin was free for now during invite-only access, with early credits and credit pricing to follow. The pricing page already lists paid plans, so check what your own invitation includes. A waitlist place or an introductory allocation does not establish ongoing free use.
What does the multi-shot promise cover?
Dolphin's homepage advertises videos up to 60 seconds from its template and multi-shot workflows, with voiceover, music, editing and consistent characters across shots. These are vendor claims. We have not measured whether a character, product or prop stays consistent across cuts.
Different routes have different limits. The MCP page lists most model clips at 4 to 10 seconds, with a few reaching 15, and a separate long-form route that turns a script and reference image into a 9:16 talking video of 30 seconds to several minutes. A several-minute talking video says nothing about several minutes of cinematic continuity. Ask which route, duration and format your plan supports.
Dolphin's Terms describe it as an aggregator that does not build or own the underlying models. If you are weighing that convenience against buying model access directly, our Higgsfield guide works through the same question for a comparable platform. We have no controlled evidence that Dolphin delivers better results or a lower cost per accepted video.
Before uploading client assets
The Privacy Policy, updated September 16, covers uploaded and generated media alongside account and activity data. Five points matter for client work:
- Organization owners and administrators can view projects, inputs, outputs, uploads and member activity. The policy suggests confirming whether you are in a personal account or someone else's organization before uploading sensitive material.
- Inputs may be sent to third-party model providers to generate outputs, and the Terms say those providers are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Data may also be transferred to other countries.
- Section 5.11 includes sharing back-testing, user-action and processed data with third parties without the user's consent. The following paragraph treats continued use as consent to the policy. That wording does not establish that a particular client file has been shared.
- Retention is tied to purpose, and deletion requests have legal and contractual exceptions.
- The Terms say Dolphin is not obligated to back up inputs or outputs and may delete them without notice. Keep your own copies of anything you deliver.
Check project visibility too: the Terms allow other users to access and reuse material submitted to public areas. We did not verify the default visibility of a new project. The output license in Section 9.1 extends to improving the platform. We did not find a training opt-out, and nothing public shows whether any particular upload has been used for training.
For an unreleased product or a client's face and voice, ask which assets are shared, with whom, how long they are kept, and what confidentiality terms apply to your account.
The Choosely verdict
For paid client or monetized work, hold the purchase until Dolphin confirms in writing that your plan covers it and you can see what a real job costs in credits. For confidential projects, add account-specific data terms to that check.
The published prices are a starting point, with checkout details still to verify. The permissions need clarification before you commit to paid work; the monthly credit allowance alone cannot establish a finished-video budget.
