Charles Robinson62 is an AI-generated character on the Instagram account @charles.robinson62. Choosely reviewed the profile on October 14 and found the "AI-generated profile" label and a Higgsfield "Creative Partner" declaration. Separately, his link page tells viewers to "Make videos like me using Higgsfield Genjutsu." On the public evidence, Higgsfield is the platform and Genjutsu is the tool the account itself names.
The original face generator, source performance, voice and final editor remain unverified. A paid character-system guide is listed on the linked page; Choosely has not bought or reviewed it.
This analysis draws on Choosely’s profile review, public sources and official documentation. Choosely has not inspected the account’s project files or reproduced its videos.
Who is Charles Robinson62?
Charles is a scruffy, often barefoot older man placed in conspicuous wealth: supercars, luxury hotels and expensive-looking settings. The joke is the mismatch. The persona is not evidence of a real billionaire’s biography.
Choosely’s October 14 profile review confirmed the "AI-generated profile" label, corroborating JARRUS’s October 11 report.
At Choosely’s October 14 review, the profile displayed 958K followers. Instagram rounds this figure; it is not an exact follower count. JARRUS reported 948,000 followers on October 11 and a leading video at 99.6 million views. Those video views remain an attributed historical figure.
The start date is less clear. Opinion AI described the account on October 6 as about a week old, and a tracker cited by ScamAdviser recorded about 625,000 followers on October 5. The first post date remains unverified. A Linktree join date would establish when that link page was created, not when the Instagram account began.
What the account says about Higgsfield
Three public signals connect Charles to Higgsfield:
- 1The bio read "Creative Partner - @higgsfield.ai" when Choosely reviewed the profile on October 14. That corroborates JARRUS’s earlier observation.
- 2The captions. JARRUS reports that most posts end with a "Made with @higgsfield.ai" credit. Findra's caption extracts show it on posts from October 10 and 11, and not on one from October 8.
- 3The link page names Higgsfield Genjutsu. The link itself goes to Higgsfield's homepage with a referral parameter, not to the Genjutsu product page.
The partner label carries terms. Higgsfield describes its Creator Partnership Program as its creative partner program. Partners receive a full Higgsfield plan renewed monthly, extra credits, early access to features and access to the affiliate program. Higgsfield asks partners to tag the company when its tools are part of their work.
Choosely cannot see the account's individual terms. The public program offers subsidized access and asks for credits when its tools are used. That gives the captions a promotional context. It does not establish Charles’s compensation, exact benefits or contract.
Higgsfield also runs a separate affiliate program that pays up to 25% commission on referred subscriptions for up to 12 months. We could not confirm whether the parameter on Charles's link belongs to it, and we did not use the parameter to try to identify the operator.
What is actually documented?
| Production stage | What we can establish | Evidence status |
|---|---|---|
| Platform connection | Creative Partner label confirmed in Choosely’s October 14 profile review; credits reported in captions | Confirmed profile declaration; individual agreement unverified |
| Named video tool | Genjutsu named on the account's link page | Confirmed account statement, not tied to specific clips |
| Genjutsu on a specific clip | No per-clip credit naming Genjutsu found | Unknown |
| Original Charles face | No specific character-generation tool verified | Unknown |
| Source performance and footage | No source clip or performer identified | Unknown |
| Voice and music | No audio tool or source verified | Unknown |
| Final edit | No editing application identified | Unknown |
| Paid character-system guide | Download listed on the link page | Offer verified; contents not reviewed |
Filling those unknown rows with plausible tools would be easy. It would also be guesswork.
What does Higgsfield Genjutsu do?
Higgsfield’s changelog dates the release of Genjutsu to September 1. It transforms existing footage in two ways:
- Motion Transfer keeps a clip's movement, camera and timing, then rebuilds the character or scene from reference images.
- Object Swap replaces a selected element, such as a person, outfit or product, and leaves the rest of the shot as filmed.
Higgsfield's launch guide lists one source video of up to 30 seconds, up to 30 reference images and output up to 1080p per generation.
The account's format suits that method: one recurring character dropped into new scenes. Suitability is where the evidence stops. We have not verified a caption naming Genjutsu on a specific Charles clip, and nothing public shows whether a given clip used Motion Transfer, Object Swap, another Higgsfield tool or software outside Higgsfield.
For the wider platform, see our Higgsfield explainer.
Was Charles created with Higgsfield AI Influencer?
That remains unverified. The release timeline gives us a question to investigate, not an answer.
AI Influencer is Higgsfield's character builder. Its October 3 announcement describes characters assembled from 19 menu settings, an optional uploaded face and a built-in step that sends the character into Genjutsu. The Futures Digest stated on October 13 that Charles's creator used AI Influencer to build him. It cited no source.
Higgsfield's changelog dates the rebuilt AI Influencer to October 2. By October 5, a tracker had the account at about 625,000 followers. Those dates alone cannot tell us when the character was designed. An earlier version existed, and Higgsfield’s partner program offers early feature access. The face could have been created through several routes; neither the audience size nor the relaunch date selects one.
We also found no Charles-specific disclosure naming Soul ID, Nano Banana, Midjourney, FLUX, Seedream or custom training. The finished clips cannot answer the question either: realistic output does not identify the model that made it.
The voice, footage and edit remain unverified
Genjutsu’s motion-transfer workflow starts from a source clip. We have not identified source footage or performers for Charles’s videos, or verified what rights the operator holds. An AI face also says nothing about the voice, and no evidence reviewed here names a voice tool, a music source or an editing application.
Our Gossip Goblin investigation shows why these stay separate: image generation, animation, lip sync and voice were different jobs handled by different tools.
The commercial layer
Besides the Higgsfield link, Charles's link page carries two commercial items:
- A paid guide. The Viral AI Character System is listed at $49.99 for one file. Choosely has not reviewed its contents or verified that it documents the account’s complete production process.
- A token. A link to a Pump.fun coin named $CHARLES. The link establishes promotion. It does not show who created or controls the token.
Add the partner program and the referral link, and the account has several commercial reasons to promote Higgsfield and its own method. Choosely found no verified evidence of earnings, ownership or fraud. ScamAdviser, reviewing the account on October 7, also found insufficient evidence to call it a scam. We found no reliable disclosure identifying the operator, studio or agency.
Could you make something similar?
Higgsfield documents a route that matches the format: AI Influencer for the character, Genjutsu for the motion. That is Higgsfield's workflow, not one Charles has confirmed.
- 1Build a character reference and keep its identifying features fixed across shots.
- 2Use source footage you shot or have permission to use, and upload a real face only with that person's consent.
- 3Apply motion transfer or element replacement for the change you need.
- 4Check each output against the source for identity drift, contact with objects and continuity.
- 5Decide on voice, music and the edit deliberately before publishing.
Matching the tools will not reproduce the concept or the timing that made this account spread. For a creator who has explained a full workflow in their own words, see our Promptgenix investigation.
Choosely verdict
The account publicly points viewers to Genjutsu and identifies itself as a Higgsfield Creative Partner. That gives us a defensible platform connection and a named video-tool recommendation. The original face, source footage, voice and edit remain unverified, even though a paid character-system guide is being offered.
A recurring AI character can be built from separate identity, performance and editing stages. In a motion-transfer workflow, those stages can come from different sources. If the account or Higgsfield publishes a production breakdown, the unknown rows can be filled.
Frequently asked questions
